As you probably know by know, United Kingdom faces a major problem when it comes to single people as a large majority seems unable to find their romance, whether they are searching for it in traditional ways or on online dating sites. According to an infographic released by one of the most popular dating website from UK it seems that UK single people are the most unhappy people throughout all Europe. Not only that but Parship’s infographic also revealed what are the main causes for this and here they are below.
Only 31% of all singles went on a date in last year
That is a very low number when we consider the rest 69% of all singles have not had a single date throughout all last year. What are the odds of finding a romance if you do not make the right step and search for a partner?
35% are dissatisfied with being single
This is a natural statement: who will be glad not sharing a wonderful love story with someone, spending Christmas with his/her beloved one and getting the same love that he/she shares.
75% have not had ANY type of relationship in the last 18 months
It is nothing unusual while they did not went to a single date for a whole year, isn’t that true? Of course, going on a date does not necessarily means it will end up in a relationship but it would be a great step forward.
On the other hand, Parship also reveals some stunning numbers regarding when single folks are doing it wrong:
- 47% of UK men do not have self-confidence and they think that is the main motive for being single
- 33% of single men would not date an over-weighted woman
- 31% believe they are not attractive enough for getting a partner
As for UK single women, here are the facts as presented by the infographic:
- Only 21% do not like love handles
- Only 19% are searching for a wealthy man
- Only 12% are turned-off by bald men
